Exhibition at Photographers Gallery
No Wu Tang member left unturned.
Icons of Wu is a one-day photo exhibition by Eddie Otchere, that took place at the Brixton East 1871 gallery, in London, March 5.
The exhibition featured portraits of every Wu Tang member. These were shot by Otchere over a five-year period and have never before been displayed together. The prints have been “digitally reduxed” and Otchere himself will offer a guided tour of the exhibition, beginning at 2PM on the day.
In addition to portraits of Shaolin’s finest , the exhibition went into the night and offered a production workshop with Tony Nwachukwu, a panel talk with Alexander Nut and Dobie, a record stall, and DJ sets and live shows from VCF and DJ Rumz. A video installation by Daniel Oduntan also featured on the day. Full details can be found on Facebook.
